James Hoostal Joins Interbrand North America as Automotive Practice Lead

Irvine, California (January 12, 2017) – James (Jim) Hoostal joins Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, as North America’s Executive Director Client Services, focusing on automotive. Bringing over 20 years of automotive leadership experience into the position, Hoostal will ensure best practices, bring the latest thinking, and help drive transformational results for the organization’s automotive clients. In this role, Hoostal will also be leading the Interbrand Design Forum office in Irvine, California.

Prior to joining Interbrand, Hoostal was the Regional Executive Director for IHS Markit (previously R. L. Polk & Co.) where he oversaw sales and client services. He supported a wide array of automotive manufacturers and captive finance companies to help them plan product strategies, grow market share, improve owner loyalty and increase profitability.

外围体育投注Hoostal also held Retail Development leadership positions at both Kia and Mazda, where he was responsible for national market planning, dealer development, retail brand standards, facilities, and dealer profitability. In addition, Hoostal’s client-side experience included roles in relationship marketing, advertising and field management. He has been instrumental in developing retail strategies and standards, and was also a key contributor to dealer council meetings, NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) and NAMAD (National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers).
